PARKDEAN RESORTS TO INVEST £42M ON ITS PARKS

Parkdean Resorts have announced they will be investing £42m in all its parks across the UK.

East Anglian Parks will see a significant investment with £2.8m being allocated to expand their caravan and lodge offering in order to be able to keep up with the increasing demand by holidaymakers for these kinds of retreats.

A total of 60 new caravans will be added to Great Yarmouth’s Vauxhall holiday park, which will also see an expansion of its play area by introducing a vortex slide and an aerial zip-wire.

All of Parkdean's holiday parks across the South West will get a larger sum of £7m, with £3m specifically intended for the upgrade of their accommodation offering.

Parkdean Resorts’ CEO, John Waterworth, said: “This year our £42m investment plans really show our commitment to continually developing our parks, and creating the best possible holidaymaker and owner experiences.”

“In 2018 we have a focus on bringing in new caravans and lodges to follow the growth in consumer demand. We also regularly collect guest feedback, and from this made the decision to introduce more one and four-bedroom models.”
