FARMER BUYS ROSEDALE ABBEY FOR £2.95M

Located in a village in the North Yorkshire Moors, Rosedale Abbey Holiday Park is already an established tourist destination and has permission in place for six camping pods, five holiday cottages, 75 tents and over 200 caravans.

The static and touring park was sold to a local diversifying farmer for the sum of £2.95M by property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall. Holiday park and caravan park specialist, William Reynolds, stated:

“The park occupies a very desirable location and offers a great deal of further potential which the buyer quickly recognised,” said Sanderson Weatherall’s holiday park and caravan park specialist William Reynolds.

“We continue to see incredibly high levels of demand for caravan and holidays park throughout the country as operators and investors seek to expand and diversify their portfolios with parks in Yorkshire being in particularly strong demand.”
