Top Tips on Scaling a Business

More than 500 innovating farmers, landowners and entrepreneurs will be gathering to exhibit for the annual Farm Business Innovation Show on the 8th and 9th November. With a ‘world of ideas’ the show encourages businesses, farmers, land owners and managers who are considering farm diversification, whether that’s leisure, tourism, food production or farm shops, to visit to learn, share ideas and insight on ways to make money from land.

With a diverse range of businesses exhibiting to highlight farm diversification and ways to add value to land, the Farm Business Innovation Show is a fabulous free to attend event at the NEC in Birmingham.

Echoing this objective to innovate, the Farm491 team and a selection of its agritech members will be taking a trade stand at the show. You’ll find them on stand 982. Online machinery trading platform Farm-r will be on the stand to explain its efficiency saving platform for sharing agricultural machinery – a concept that enables farmers to make money from un-used machinery at time of low season. DiAgrii will also join the stand. Founder Ian Bester, will be showcasing his smart livestock monitoring app that tracks and records animal location and movement to provide farmers with important information on animal health and wellbeing.

Farm491’s Programme Manager, Dr Ali Hadavizadeh will be giving his ‘Top Tips on Launching and Scaling a New Venture’ in a seminar session on Wednesday 8th November at 2.45pm.

Many entrepreneurs looking to launch a business can fail at the first hurdle by not seeking the right business advice. Do you know the essential building blocks to a successful sustainable business?
