TouchWood Awarded Four-Year National Framework Position with the Forestry Commission

Leading design, build and installation play company TouchWood Play, has been selected as one of only four companies in the UK to be awarded a prestigious play areas framework position with the Forestry Commission.

The Forestry Commission is the government department responsible for protecting, expanding and promoting the sustainable management of woods and forests and increasing their value to society and the environment.   TouchWood has been selected as one of its select providers, now able to tender to deliver play areas for the Commission throughout the UK, until 2020.

TouchWood has worked on several highly successful projects for the Forestry Commission, including the creation of features in a bespoke play trail at Moors Valley Country Park (pictured), which has helped attract and encourage large groups of families to enjoy, experience, explore the Woodland.  

For over 15 years, TouchWood Play based in Bristol, has been designing and constructing innovative, highly engineered playgrounds and adventure play areas for schools, councils, retail and leisure complexes and national visitor attractions and organisations throughout the UK and Europe.
